York stabbing: Man arrested in Sunday afternoon incident, police say
Nathaniel Jacob Null, 30, faces charges of aggravated assault and simple assault, police said.
York City Police arrested a city man Sunday afternoon, charging him in connection with the stabbing of another man, according to police.
Nathaniel Jacob Null, 30, faces charges of aggravated assault and simple assault. As of Monday afternoon, he remained in York County Prison on $5,000 bail.
About 5 p.m. Sunday, York City Police officers responded to the 400 block of Salem Avenue for a stabbing.
Once there, they found the victim, a 47-year-old male, suffering from a serious stab wound. The man, who police did not name, was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive, York City Police Sgt. Daniel Lentz said Monday.

Police also found Null at the scene and arrested him. Their investigation revealed that Null and the man argued, the argument turned physical, and Null stabbed the man, Lentz said.
Null is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Oct. 9 before District Judge Joel N. Toluba, according to online court dockets.
