Suspected Fentanyl and guns found with man at hotel, police say

Northern York County Regional Police arrested a man earlier this month at a hotel in Manchester Township after they found him with suspected Fentanyl, a rifle and a handgun, according to a news release.

Police identified the man as Brandon Eugene Lizotte, 30, of Windsor, and charged him with possession of firearm prohibited, conspiracy to commit possession with intent to deliver drugs, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and intentional possession of a controlled substance by person not registered.

As of Sunday, Lizotte remained in York County Prison on $3,500 bail. He has a preliminary hearing on Oct. 1 before District Judge Jeffrey L. Oberdorf, according to online court dockets.

About 10:44 p.m. on Tuesday, police investigated a report of a disorderly person at the Wingate by Wyndham, located on State Street in Manchester Township.

Once there, they found a 33-year-old male who told them someone he knew only as "Brandon" had stolen his book bag and car keys. "Brandon" later turned out to be Lizotte, police said.

Police found Lizotte standing in a stairwell and the victim’s book bag on the ground nearby.

Also in his possession, they found a .22 caliber long rifle inside a case and another bag that contained 132 grams of a white powdery substance, suspected to be Fentanyl and a handgun with no serial number, police said.

"The powdery substance was sent to the Pennsylvania State Police Crime Lab for analysis," police said. "The victim’s stolen cell phone was located underneath the second book bag."
