Motorcyclist killed in crash in Franklin County

A 51-year-old man was killed this week in a motorcycle crash in Metal Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. 

The Huntingdon County man was traveling south on Richmond Road at about 1:12 p.m. Monday when his Honda motorcycle went off the right shoulder while he was going around a left curve. 

The motorcycle struck an embankment. The man came off the bike and suffered a fatal injury. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Motorists traveling behind the victim told police what they saw happen. 

The man's name was redacted from the police report.
