Television star Ben Savage visited Roca Bar North in Evansville Friday night, according to a Facebook post from the restaurant.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Roca Bar North had a celebrity visitor Friday evening that some of you no doubt grew up with.

Ben Savage, AKA Cory Matthews, from the now-classic "Boy Meets World" sitcom was apparently visiting Roca Bar with a friend, or possibly girlfriend?

(No, that's not Topanga with Cory....errr, Mr. Savage in the photo. Sorry to disappoint.)

A Facebook post from Roca Bar read: "Huge shout out to Boy Meets World, Ben Savage, for visiting with us tonight. He was so kind and extremely friendly, so refreshing to see. Come back anytime."

Judging by the Facebook comments on the post, there were at least a few Roca Bar patrons feeling a little star struck.

"Boy Meets World" aired on ABC from 1993 to 2000, eventually becoming must-see TV for younger Gen-Xers and Millennials who were around the same age as the cast of characters.

The show later had sustained popularity in syndication on Disney and inspired a recent spinoff called "Girl Meets World" which followed the central "Boy Meets World" characters after Cory and Topanga had grown up and had children of their own.

If you attended junior high, high school and college at the same time as the "Boy Meets World" characters you may very well have also found yourself inspired by Mr. Feeny's last words of advice in the final episode: to "dream, try and do good."
