[unpaid/sample] I don’t know if you remember the Dr Althea 147HA Azulene Cream that I posted a few weeks ago but I was a big fan. The bubble cleanser is the other product I was sent at the same time and it’s taken me a while to get to it, but worth the wait because, if you like a foam cleanse, it’s a beauty.

Dr Althea Amino Acid Gentle Bubble Cleanser

You get a lovely big flump of foam with each pump that is specifically indicated for sensitive skin (which I feel sometimes misses out on the fun stuff) and gently made to include hyaluronic acid and ceramides. It’s more of a skin cleanse than a make-up remover but will get rid of product residue (SPF or moisturiser for example) very nicely without leaving a stripped feel.

Dr Althea Amino Acid Gentle Bubble Cleanser

Bubbles just sound much better than plain old foam – I’m not sure this low acidity format offers any particular benefit over other types of cleanser so this is more about creating a cleansing experience that’s different to your usual routine although it does include anti-bacterial elements so it’s one to consider for acne and breakouts. I like it – I’m still amused that there is no Dr Althea (see previous post) but impressed, nonetheless, by what I’ve seen so far. It’s £15 HERE.
