U-Pick Flowers

U-pick flowers open for the season on May 9, 2026, just in time for Mother’s Day. The variety of flowers will vary according to what is in season. In May you can expect to find lots of daisies, Bachelor Buttons, Sweet William, red clover, and Dame’s rocket, as well as wildflowers. Later in the season you’ll find zinnias, sunflowers and more. The flowers available will change frequently, so plan to visit more than once!

Please also check out our big list of U-pick farms in the Triangle. It includes places to pick flowers, berries, and much more. You might also be interested in our list of farmers’ markets in the Triangle, where you can find the freshest produce and flowers, already picked.

It costs just $25 to pick a basket of flowers. This is NOT per person, but per group. You can fill up the basket with flowers from several fields, and you’ll have enough flowers to create several bouquets when you get home. So for $25 you can create bouquets for several people, including yourself!

Make sure to purchase your ticket in advance. They are likely to sell out for opening day. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., but the morning hours have sold out.

This is the perfect place to bring a mom in your life for Mother’s Day, since opening day is Saturday, May 9, 2026. Or bring the kids out and have them cut flowers for an incredible arrangement. Please note that the farm is NOT open on Mother’s Day.

U-pick tickets are good for the growing season, which is May through August, 2026.

Everything you need is provided — scissors, a bucket of water put the flowers in after you cut them, and a basket.

It’s best if you bring a bucket of water to put the flowers in for the ride home, but if you don’t have one, there will be material there to wrap the flowers and keep them moist.

While on the farm you can visit the horses, miniature donkeys, goats and chickens. You can also walk around the pond, which is shady and cool. As you walk around the pond, if you see ferns that you would like in your flower arrangement you’re welcome to cut them too!

On the walk around the pond, be on the lookout for these signs with QR codes. Each will bring you to a quote from writer Mary Oliver, so be prepared to be inspired.

You’re also welcome to come out and visit the farm and not pick flowers. It costs just $5 to visit if you’re not cutting any flowers.

The farm features an amazing swing that you can sit on, stand on, and even spin on. It’s great for visitors of all ages.

Another feature of the farm is a large labyrinth that’s mowed into a meadow. Wind your way through the labyrinth until you reach the center, with a small grove of trees. Learn about more labyrinths in the Triangle.
