Police: Cardiac issue likely led to fatal crash Thursday in Holt

DELHI TWP. – Police believe a medical issue caused a fatal crash Thursday afternoon in Holt.

A 46-year-old man was found unconscious after his vehicle struck a tree on Depot Street about 2:30 p.m., the Ingham County Sheriff's Office said.

Medics unsuccessfully tried to resuscitate the man.

Sheriff's officials said they believe "a cardiac-related medical emergency" led to the crash.

No other details were immediately released.
