Get ready for an epic movie night! World's last Blockbuster store is now an Airbnb
Looking for an unforgettable place to stay? Ditch the hotels and motels, because the last Blockbuster store is officially listed on Airbnb!
Sandi Harding, the manager of the world's last Blockbuster store, has listed the Bend, Oregon, store on Airbnb, offering movie lovers of a certain age the chance to relive a nostalgic, pre-Netflix summer sleepover.
"When you call dibs on this stay, you’re booking a night back in the '90s, but this time you won’t have to beg your parents to rent the latest horror flick – we’ll give you the keys to the entire store!" Harding, who will be acting as the host, wrote in her Airbnb listing.
She adds that she hopes to offer a sense of community amid the pandemic by opening the store to three quarantine pods for a socially-distanced movie night.

Starting August 17 at 1 p.m. PDT, residents of Deschutes County, Oregon, can request a one-night reservation on either September 18, 19 or 20 through Airbnb , where movie lovers will have the option to rent their favorite flicks, all of which will be stocked on the shelves of your room.
And how much will this stay cost? The same price as a typical movie rental back in the day: $4! Renting a movie during your stay is only a penny less.
