Got Milk? returns

The dairy industry is resurrecting the Got Milk? campaign to help sustain increased demand seen during the coronavirus pandemic.

MilkPEP CEO Yin Woon Rani says milk sales at retail are up about four percent.

“It was fascinating to see how milk has really become regarded as an essential during this critical time.”

She tells Brownfield state dairy checkoffs should be able to add their own content on a local level.

“It’s social by design and that makes it easier for the states and regions to find ways to repurpose.”

Rani says social mentions of milk are up almost 40 percent and relaunching Got Milk? gives it new life with a social media generation.

The campaign will include user generated content using milk in practical and fun ways as well as with tricks like swimming a lap in a pool while balancing a glass of chocolate milk.

The relaunch will advertise through traditional and social platforms and includes additional chapters and partners throughout the fall.
