[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’ve got a friend who always brings a little bouquet from her garden in a jam jar whenever she visits – she includes the most unexpected things like sprigs of thyme and rosemary combined with coloured leaves. I’m, shallowly, all about the flowers, and she is all about the foliage but I’m learning that bringing outside inside can be whatever you want it to be. So, with Rooftop Garden from Sun Day, which I selected on the name alone, I wasn’t expecting such a herbal mix.

Sun Day of London Candle

However, this is just a delicious mix of flowers and herbs with – to my nose – thyme and lavender predominating. It’s almost sharp to senses – kind of cleansing and invigorating. Candles haven’t featured much on my site this summer – I don’t know why because usually summer send-outs are candle heavy and I love reviewing them but nothing is as usual, of course. I haven’t noticed a lot of new candle launches either – I know that raw ingredients have been hard to source, especially in this sector so perhaps it’s a combination of things. I’d suggest that Rooftop Garden is a small room candle – perhaps the office where you need your senses keen and a bit of energy to the room – these wafts of thyme while I’m writing are definitely doing the job! They’re £26 but I’ve found them at HoF for £21 HERE, non affiliate HERE.
