Oxnard residents should pay attention to street signs when they park because the city will be issuing street sweeping tickets once again.

Oxnard motorists should pay close attention to signs announcing the street-sweeping schedule because the city will soon be issuing tickets.

In March, as local and statewide stay-at-home orders were enacted due to the coronavirus, the city stopped issuing street-sweeping tickets. On Monday, the city resumed street sweeping and began issuing warnings to parked cars along the targeted route. Starting July 20 the city will start ticketing.

There are more than 450 miles of streets in Oxnard. To find out what day of the week any street will be swept, check out a color-coded map on the city's website at http://bit.ly/oxnardstreetsweep.
