Fire damages The Club at Chandler Crossing apartments in East Lansing

A fire erupted and damaged The Club at Chandler Crossing apartments in East Lansing on Friday night.

Twitter user @catladyfrvr captured video of several fire trucks responding to the student-apartment complex, and later posted photos of the damage. Pictures show a charred exterior that has been boarded up.

Meridian Township Fire Department responded to the fire, along with East Lansing Fire Department.

East Lansing is currently investigating the fire, a Meridian Township fire official said on Saturday afternoon. East Lansing didn't immediately answer calls on Saturday.
