Milwaukee police release photos of suspects sought in arson, shooting during civil unrest

Milwaukee police are searching for suspects in the arson and one of the shootings that occurred during the civil unrest Tuesday near a Washington Park home.

The house at the center of a civilian-led investigation into two missing teenage girls —who have since been found — was set on fire twice, police said.

And three people were shot: two 14-year-olds, about 5:30 p.m., and a 24-year-old man inside his car.

The first arson of a van and the house in the 2100 block of North 40th Street occurred about 5 p.m., police said. They are searching for three suspects.

Police described one suspect as an African-American man, 25 to 30 years old, with a thin build, light complexion and full beard. He has a birthmark on the left side of his neck. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, a black hooded jacket, dark pants and black sandals with black socks.

Police described a second suspect as an African-American teen, 16 to 19 years old. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 240 pounds. He has black hair and was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and blue jeans.

Police described a third suspect as an African-American man, 18-24 years old. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 180 to 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black tank top, black shorts and black boots with black socks.

A fourth suspect is described as an African-American man between the ages of 30 and 35. He is between 5 feet 11 inches tall and 6 foot 1 inch, weighing about 160 pounds. He was seen wearing a yellow work vest over a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray shirt, with red shorts and black shoes.

Police also say someone fired shots at a car in the 2100 block of North 40th Street. The man inside the car was struck and suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police described the suspect as an African-American man, 18 to 25 years old. He is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 150 to 160 pounds. He has a thin build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a blue, white and purple shirt with black jeans and white shoes and was armed with a handgun.
