Man charged with murder of 17-year-old Lansing girl who had been reported missing

LANSING — A Lansing man has been charged with killing a 17-year-old girl and dumping her body in Washtenaw County, police said. 

Amadio Gonzalez, 19, was arrested Saturday after the body of Treasure Stewart-Adams, 17, of Lansing, was found, according to police and court records.

Gonzalez is charged with homicide, tampering with evidence, moving a body and also faces three felony weapons charges.

Court records indicate Stewart-Adams was killed May 24. She was reported missing and possibly endangered May 26, according to police.
