June 2020 Democratic Presidential Elections Update


The Democratic Presidential Nominee will be Selected by Delegates at the Democratic National Convention, which was Postponed amid the Coronavirus Outbreak to August 17th-20th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

To Win the Nomination on the First Ballot, a Candidate must Receive support from a Majority of Pledged Delegates, with at least 1,991 of the Total 3,979 Pledged Delegates.

Currently, Former Vice President, Joe Biden (D-DE), has 1,549 Delegates and needs 448 Delegates to win the Nomination. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has 1,012 Delegates, and needs 979 Delegates to win the Nomination, but Dropped Out of the Race. He is still on Future Ballots, to Collect Delegates to take to the Convention, to get on Committees to affect the Parties Platform and Future Election Processes.

Indiana - 82 Delegates, Biden 76.14% 61 Delegates, Sanders 1 Delegate
Maryland - 96 Delegates, Biden 85.2% 84 Delegates
Montana - 19 Delegates, Biden 74.8% 16 Delegates
New Mexico - 34 Delegates, Biden 73% 25 Delegates
Pennsylvania - 186 Delegates, Biden 77.2% 126 Delegates, Sanders 2 Delegates
Rhode Island - 26 Delegates, Biden 62% 14 Delegates
South Dakota - 16 Delegates, Biden 76.5% 11 Delegates, Sanders 3 Delegates
Total - 460 Delegates, Biden has Won 337 Delegates so far

Biden now has 1,886 Delegates and needs 105 Delegates for the Nomination.

7th: Puerto Rico - 23 Delegates
