Election day in Wisconsin was chaotic, so naturally people were tweeting about it, including Barbra Streisand and Michelle Obama

Wisconsin was the first state in the nation to hold an in-person election under a coronavirus "safe at home" order.

The election comes a day after Gov. Tony Evers issued an executive order to delay the election until June. Republicans challenged the order and the Wisconsin Supreme Court reinstated the election. Meanwhile, the U.S. Supreme Court restricted absentee voting.

Of course many people took to Twitter to say something about it.

National politicians such as former presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren and House Majority Whip James Clyburn called out against the election.

Former first lady Michelle Obama and actress Barbra Streisand had some thoughts.

And so did The Onion.

President Donald Trump tweeted his support for conservative Justice Daniel Kelly and encouraged people to vote today.

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders also weighed in calling the election outrageous.

Within the state, Wisconsin conservative talk show host Dan O'Donnell defended the GOP, as did state Rep. John Nygren.

Evers and Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes also had something to say about the election.

Milwaukee had only five polling places open, which meant people had to travel farther than usual to vote.

Voters found long lines at most Milwaukee polling locations.

People elsewhere in the state also had to deal with long lines and were concerned about voting in person.
