Another week of self-distancing and, for some, stay at home orders down. We know it's frustrating to look at your calendar and see all the races and events you had planned for slowly be rescheduled or canceled, but by staying home you are saving lives!

Our first community member of the week is Megan Beck, who would have been heading to Seattle this weekend for a rematch with Spartan Seattle. While that faceoff will have to wait, Megan is staying positive and looking ahead to the future when she is able to return to the course!

In less than 24 hours, I was supposed to be on a flight to Seattle. I had a mission. I was going to take back the #SpartanSeattle course. Seattle was probably the most miserable race I’d ever ran. There was nothing fun about that race last year. I was cold, I was wet, and for the first time in my Spartan career, I wanted to quit. I never wanted to return to Seattle again. But Spartan planned the #SpartanUSNS2020 to go through Seattle again so to Seattle I was going to go. As much as I hated racing in Seattle, I hate sitting at home, unable to race more. I would do anything to return to Seattle and to prove to that rainy, muddy course that I cannot be defeated. I will be back Seattle. Not this weekend, maybe not this year, but whenever we can return to racing, I will find that piece of my soul that was left in those muddy burpee pits. #tbt

Next, we have Juanjo, who is focusing on the positives. We will come out of this stronger and with a renewed sense of purpose when we can finally return to the course.

What motivates you to keep moving when you're stuck at home?
