Dry whey exports near one year high in February

U.S. dry whey exports reached a nearly one-year high in February.

With an increase of more than 3,100 metric tons, the USDA says it was the strongest February for dry whey since 2014.

A decline in business with China was more than offset by gains derived from southeast Asia, mainly to Indonesia.

February cheese exports were down slightly compared to 2019, with Mexico remaining the top destination.

And nonfat dry milk exports dropped lower for the first year-over-year decline since August.
