Nebraska winter wheat rating up on month

The USDA’s winter wheat condition rating in Nebraska showed a significant improvement from February to March.

The department says 79% of the crop is called good to excellent, an increase of 10% on the month, while soil moisture levels held at mostly adequate levels.

The USDA’s weekly crop progress and condition reports resume April 6th.
