You can still register online to vote in Wisconsin through 11:59 tonight
Patrick MarleyMADISON - Today is the last day for online voter registration ahead of Wisconsin's April 7 presidential primary and state Supreme Court election.
Under state law, online voter registration ended March 18, but U.S. District Judge William Conley reinstated it shortly after that because the global coronavirus pandemic has made it difficult for many people to leave their homes.
Under his order, online registration is available until 11:59 p.m. Monday.

Voters must be registered to request absentee ballots. They can request absentee ballots until Thursday, but clerks are requesting that they ask for them as soon as possible to help them keep up with the flood of requests they are getting.
To be counted, the ballots must be received by clerks by the time polls close April 7.
People can register to vote and request absentee ballots at myvote.wi.gov.
Conley issued his order extending online voter registration as part of a lawsuit brought by the Democratic National Committee. He will likely decide other aspects of that lawsuit and two others this week, including a request by the group Souls to the Polls to delay the election.
On the ballot is the presidential primary, a victims' rights amendment to the state constitution and races for state Supreme Court and local offices, including Milwaukee mayor and Milwaukee County executive.
