One killed, one wounded in early morning shooting

One man is dead and a woman is recovering in a hospital after a Saturday morning shooting. 

Around 7:45 a.m., Milwaukee police responded to a shooting near the 400 block of North 39th Street and found a 26-year-old man with fatal injuries and a 19-year-old woman with serious injuries. 

The woman was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition.
