Farm Bureau leader offers advice during coronavirus crisis

Wisconsin’s Farm Bureau President says farmers and consumers can take some of the strain off the supply chain during the coronavirus outbreak by buying and operating as usual whenever possible. Joe Bragger says, “You know, one of the things that are happening right now which may be a disruption to the system is some of the hoarding that’s going on, and maybe, as one of my friends said, the best thing we can do is to make as much normal out of an abnormal situation as you can.”

Bragger tells Brownfield farmers should check on each other and their neighbors to make sure they are physically and mentally healthy. “Making those phone calls, keeping in touch with your neighbors, especially when you have some of these folks that are already somewhat isolated in their lives. Please take the time to give them a call, reach out and visit with them.”

Bragger says by taking simple steps like these, people will get through the crisis together.
