Milk futures, cash dairy lower

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile slid again Thursday as coronavirus impacts weigh on cash markets and global trade.

February Class III milk down two cents at $16.99.  March down 15 cents at $16.32.  April 16 cents lower at $16.02.  May down 20 cents at $16.10.  June through September contracts 13 to 26 cents lower.

Dry whey down $0.0150 at $0.3375.  Three sales were made at $0.34. 

Blocks down $0.0375 at $1.7225.  Three trades were made ranging from $1.7225 to $1.7450. 

Barrels unchanged at $1.59.  Three trades were made at $1.5875 and $1.59.

Butter down $0.0250 at $1.6950.  Twenty-one sales were made ranging from $1.6750 to $1.70.

Nonfat dry milk down $0.02 at $1.08.  Two trades were made at $1.08 and $1.0925.
