'SNL': RuPaul declares, 'The library is open' for snarky storytime hour

Every season, fans of "RuPaul's Drag Race" — and the contestants themselves — look forward to the reading challenge, where the queens take turns donning a pair of librarian's glasses and go down the line, insulting all the others. (Or in drag queen parlance, "reading them for filth.")

So fans watching RuPaul on "Saturday Night Live" were no doubt delighted when he opened a sketch by declaring, "The library is open." This time, it was a drag queen storytime hour (minus the drag) for children at a local library, but hey, we'll take it.

The first book? "Eloise," which prompted Ru to say, "Ooh, Eloise, you need to call the front desk and get a hot oil treatment for that broom on your head. And Victoria's Secret called. They want their wallpaper back."

His next target? "Madeline" by "Ludwig, um, Beethoven." He took issue with the book's geographic accuracy. "The Eiffel Tower is not in the woods. Girl, you betta draw France right, (expletive). Somebody actin' like they've been to Paris. You ain't never been there!"

Finally, he turned his sights on "Nancy Drew and the Secret of the Old Clock." His theory? Nancy was out in the dark, um, conducting some ... self-care. "Uh-huh, somebody found out and she grabbed some random clock and she was actin' like she was fixin' it. Good God, girl, get a grip. She crazy!" 

We just want to know: When is RuPaul coming to our library?
