Ethanol stocks up, production down

U.S. ethanol supplies grew last week, the fourth week in a row with an increase. The U.S. Energy Information Administration says stocks were up 213,000 barrels at 24.244 million, the largest domestic supply since late July 2019.

Production was down 20,000 barrels at an average of 1.029 million barrels a day, the second week in a row with a decline and the lowest weekly average since early November of last year.

The USDA’s next corn for ethanol use estimate is out February 11th.
