[sample] I love a liquid blush – I wear very few powder blushes because I just don’t like powder on my skin. There are one or two exceptions (Clarins, for one) that are so finely milled and coated that they don’t feel dry but I’m a bit of a princess and the pea when it comes to powder blush!

I really like the consistency of these blush tints – they’re translucent on the cheeks so perfect for a fresh skin look – but the colours are a bit odd!

Of the two samples that I have, I can see the Coral shade bringing life and vibrancy to deeper toned skin but on my winter-pale complexion, it was just a no-go. The Nude shade was more successful and gave a kind of tanned look to my cheeks. I can see myself using this a lot in the summer but again, it just wasn’t quite right on my tone at the moment.

You can see that in consistency, there is a gel-ish element which means you have to work quite quickly with a brush or fingertips once it’s out of the tube – I’d definitely have a couple of goes on your harm first so you get to know the tint level …. I went in all guns blazing and had to start again when I realised I’d applied way too much. The colour isn’t particularly stainy but does give a sheer colour veil that’s perfect for anyone who wants a fresher, more low-key beauty look. There’s a Berry shade that again I think will give life to deeper tones and an Apricot shade that I’ll try as a better fit for me. They’re good value at £6.99 each HERE.
