EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Fifth Third Bank's location at 2350 Washington Ave., at Boeke Road, will close Tuesday, Jan. 28.

A sign on the door confirmed the closure. The sign directed Fifth Third customers to the branch at 661 S. Green River Road, at Bellemeade Avenue.

Another Fifth Third branch is at Washington Avenue and Professional Drive.

It wasn't immediately clear if the ATM at Washington and Boeke would remain in use. The Courier & Press reached out to Fifth Third representatives. Fifth Third has headquarters in Cincinnati.

Last week, Evansville-based Old National Bank said it plans to close 26 banking centers across its multi-state footprint this year. The list includes Lincoln Avenue and North Main Street locations in Evansville, as well as a banking center in Owensboro, Kentucky.
