Jensen Beach man accused of trafficking acid and selling meth in Martin County

MARTIN COUNTY — A Jensen Beach man was arrested on drug charges Friday night after he was accused of trafficking acid and selling methamphetamine.

William Underwood, 31, of the 800 block of Northeast Stokes Terrace in Jensen Beach, was arrested on one charge of trafficking acid, and three charges each of illegal use of two-way communication, possession of a controlled substance and sale of a controlled substance.

Martin County Sheriff's office deputies said they used informants to buy ecstasy and methamphetamine from Underwood on four separate occasions between April and July.

Over the three-month period, deputies said they bought four grams of ecstasy and about 6.2 grams of methamphetamine from Underwood.

According to Underwood's arrest affidavits, Martin County sheriff's deputies had outstanding drug arrest affidavits out for his arrest.

Deputies arrested Underwood at his home Friday night.  He was taken to the Martin County Jail. Bond was set at $160,000.
