Boutique hotel poised for March opening at Dawley Farm

A new hotel coming to the Dawley Farm retail area of Sioux Falls is expecting to open at the beginning of March.

Glo is expected to open March 2, said director of sales and marketing Kayleen Leonard. While the 97-room hotel is described as boutique, Leonard says guests shouldn't expect to pay high prices.

"It's mid-range, but it definitely feels upscale," she said. "It's very wallet-friendly, but you get all these amenities."

Those amenities includes gel-topped mattresses, an indoor pool with doors that will open onto a patio area and a bar area that will serve beer and wine.

Glo is a subsidiary of Best Western and guests who stay there are eligible to earn Best Western rewards, Leonard said. The feel of the hotel is sleek and modern with clean lines.

"It's very different from the cookie-cutter style you see everywhere," Leonard said. "That's what really differentiates it, is the design."

Glo is currently pre-booking hotel rooms. Guests are asked to call 605-595-3760 to book before June 4 and visit Best Western's website to book after that.
