Indiana Farm Bureau provides a voice for Hoosier farmers

Indiana Farm Bureau has been providing Hoosier farmers a voice since 1919.

President Randy Kron says the organization will continue to advocate for growers as they face challenging growing conditions, trade disputes, and low commodity prices.

“There are a lot of roles for Indiana Farm Bureau to do in the future, but one thing I thinks going to be very important is making sure we have a unified voice from agriculture,” he says.  

He says this will be critical as Indiana Farm Bureau prepares for the next 100 years.

“If we have differences it’s going to have to be worked out in the back room, when we’re at the statehouse or our nation’s capital we ought to be speaking with one voice and unified and I think that’s going to be Indiana Farm Bureau’s role moving forward,” he says.

Kron says members are the grassroots and strength of the organization.
