Outdoor ice skating returning to downtown Milwaukee at Red Arrow Park

The Slice of Ice at Red Arrow Park is about to reopen for the season, bringing outdoor ice skating to downtown Milwaukee. 

The rink will open at 11 a.m. Friday and will be celebrated with free Pepsi products while supplies last. 

Slice of Ice is free for skaters to use with their own ice skates. Ice skate rentals are available in the warming house for $9 for adults and $7 under the age of 17. 

Toddler-sized skating supports will be available for a $1 rental fee and $5 refundable deposit or photo ID. Ice sleds for people with limited mobility will be available for free when requested 24 hours in advance. 

Slice of Ice will be open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday  and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.

It will be open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Christmas Eve and  2 to 11 p.m. Christmas Day.
