Grassley receives assurances on biofuels plan
Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley says he’s received assurances from the White House Office of Management and Budget that 2020 biofuel blending mandates will reflect the agreement reached in September between the Trump administration and biofuels backers.
Grassley says he spoke directly with the acting director of OMB, Russell Vought.
“He assured me that he would work to make sure the rule is finalized according to the agreement that was made on September 12th and reiterated to us on November 19th,” Grassley says.
The EPA sent its proposal to OMB last week for final review.
