The City of Milwaukee Department of Neighborhood Services had ordered the bras to be removed because of their fire hazard potential.

Marcy Skowronski wears her beloved Milwaukee Brewers shirt with their Polish name: Piwowarzy. Skowronski grew up in the heavily Polish south side neighborhood of Lincoln Village and lived there nearly her entire life, her family said.
