Firefighters extinguish recreational vehicle fire threatening Titusville home

A Saturday vehicle fire in Titusville threatened to spread to a nearby home, but firefighters extinguished the flames before it reached the house.

The fire broke out on the 2600 block of Frontier Drive in north Titusville, according to a Brevard County Fire Rescue news release. A recreational vehicle parked on the street next to a home was engulfed in flames.

The Titusville Fire Department, Mims Fire Department and Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to the fire at about 9:22 a.m., according to BCFR. They were able to extinguish the blaze before it spread.
