Calling hours set for Mila Ruangsuwana, 9-year-old girl struck in Brighton crash

Funeral services have been set for one of the two pedestrians killed during Wednesday's crash in Brighton.

Elmira Kamilevna Hall, 45, from Farmington, Ontario County, and Mila Ruangsuwana, 9, a fourth grader at French Road Elementary School, were killed Wednesday morning when a car traveling on Edgewood Avenue veered onto the sidewalk and struck Hall, Mila, and Mila's brother, Evan, 2. Evan was in critical but stable condition at Strong Memorial Hospital, according to a statement from Brighton Police released Friday morning. 

Mila is survived by parents, Rangsal Ruangsuwana and Irina Statnikova; sister, Lily and brother, Vanya; grandparents, Elena Feofilova, Narong and Cherdsri Ruangsuwana; many loving family and friends.

Friends of Mila may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Anthony Funeral Chapel, 2305 Monroe Ave., Brighton. Friends are invited to bring a written memory or photo for the family's memory book. The funeral service is  private.

Yuliya Snyder, a family friend, organized a fundraising campaign to help raise money for the family's medical and funeral costs.

No services have been set yet for Hall. 

Hall's friends and family members are also raising money to help cover her funeral expenses. 

No charges have been filed against the driver of the vehicle, Ninoshka M. Vazquez of Rochester.
