Rochester police investigate the death of a baby brought to RGH

Rochester police are investigating the death of a baby brought to Rochester General Hospital on Thursday night.

The police responded to the hospital about 9 p.m. after medical staff realized the baby boy, who was born recently, was dead,  said Lt. Gregory Bello with the Rochester Police  in a news release.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death and the age of the child.
