[samples] It takes quite a lot to move me on from hair care favourites – more times than I can count I’ve used products that just aren’t right for me and then had to re-wash and dry all over again. And I hate washing my hair. However, I’m a complete sucker for a rose shampoo and the title of this pair was enough for me to give it a go.

Hask Rose Oil & Peach Colour Protect

I don’t know this brand at all but nearly fell off my chair when I discovered that each one is £4.99 – in my mind I’d had them much more expensive. So, a perfectly decent wash and condition – I did notice I needed to use straighteners afterwards whereas with Christophe Robin and Aveda it’s more optional than essential. The thing I like the best is the fragrance.

Hask Rose Oil & Peach Colour Protect

It reminded me of a beautiful Rose shampoo I bought in Japan but the peach does take over a bit from the rose. I don’t have any complaints about that because if you like a peachy hit, as I do, it’s lovely. There are some similarities in the scent vein to Soap & Glory Call of Fruity – nobody is ever going to think they’re smelling a fresh fruit salad but it’s none the worse for that. The fruity fragrance stayed all day, my hair was clean and well conditioned – no more can be asked! You can find this brand at Superdrug HERE.
