ONTARIO, Ore. — Police are investigating after the body of an adult male was found in a home in northeast Ontario Sunday evening.

Malheur County District Attorney David Goldthorpe says it appears to be a “very obvious” homicide.

Ontario Police say they found a 60-year-old man dead on the front porch of a home. They say they found traumatic injuries to his face and neck.

Police are now treating the death as an active homicide investigation but said there are no suspects in custody.

The body was discovered Sunday evening, but authorities believe the man was killed either Sunday morning or early afternoon. The identity of the man is being withheld until the next of kin can be notified.

Investigators urge anyone with any information related to the investigation call Ontario Police at 541-473-5125 or 541-881-3200.

This is a developing story and this article will be updated when further information is made available.
