Trees offer global look at Christmas in Reagan library exhibit

A tree symbolizing Finland is part of a "Christmas Around the World" exhibit at the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley.

Trees representing 26 countries are on display in the “Christmas Around the World” exhibit at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum in Simi Valley.

The exhibit opened Saturday and includes watercolor paintings by Thomas William Jones, who for four years painted the Reagan family's White House Christmas card. The exhibit runs through Jan. 5.

The library's lobby features the "Gold Star Memorial Tree." People with a family member who died in military service can add an ornament to the tree to honor their loved one. For information, call 800-410-8354.
