Milk futures higher, cash dairy flat

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange started the week higher while cash markets were quiet for Veteran’s Day.  

November Class III milk up 14 cents at $20.16.  December up ten cents at $19.19.  January ten cents higher at $17.95.  February up 12 cents at $17.22.  March through June contracts four to ten cents higher.

Dry unchanged at $0.2750.  Ten sales were made at $0.2725 and $0.2750. 

Blocks unchanged at $2.0150. 

Barrels unchanged at $2.33. 

Butter up $0.03 at $2.0675.  One trade was made at $2.06.

Nonfat dry milk unchanged at $1.2050.  Three trades were made at that price.
