Elderly man killed Saturday in Delta Township crash identified by police

DELTA TOWNSHIP — Police have identified the man killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday in Delta Township.

Vinko Duspar, 84, from Delta Township, was dead at the scene, Eaton County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy Adam Morris said.

Duspar was one of the drivers involved in the crash on Broadbent Road south of Willow Highway on Saturday at about 10 p.m.

Duspar was headed west on a side street when his sedan was hit by a pickup truck headed north on Broadbent, sheriff's officials said Saturday. 

The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening.
