MobCraft Brewing won a gold medal for its Sour Golden Ale in the Wild Beer Sours category at the Festival of Wood & Barrel-Aged Beer (FoBAB) Friday and Saturday in Chicago.

In September, MobCraft won a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival in the American Sour category.

Hacienda Beer Co., which is based in Baileys Harbor but has a Milwaukee taproom, won silver for its L'hiver beer in the Chicago festival's Wild Beer/Brett category.

As many as 200 craft breweries, including eight from Wisconsin, competed at FoBAB. The festival spotlights wood and barrel-aged beer, and every beer at the festival has been aged in a wooden barrel or in contact with wood.
