Ohio crops slow to mature

Cold, wet weather has slowed Ohio maturity as farmers wait for the crop to dry down.

Corn is now 90 percent mature and 49 percent harvested for grain with condition rated 38 percent good to excellent.  Soybeans are 78 percent harvested.

Winter wheat planting is 96 percent complete with 89 percent of the crop emerged.
