Arkansas soybeans 63%, rice 93% harvested

Soybean harvest is in full swing, while harvest is winding down for other crops.  According to the latest crop report from the USDA, 63 percent of soybeans have been harvested with 94 percent of the crop dropping leaves.

Ninety-nine percent of corn has been harvested.

Sixty-seven percent of cotton has been harvested.

Forty-two percent of peanuts have been harvested, with 86 percent of the crop dug. 

Ninety-three percent of rice has been harvested.

Forty-seven percent of winter wheat has been planted with 24 percent emerged.

Light to moderate precipitation helped improve pasture conditions as 52 percent is rated good to excellent.
