Minnesota’s harvest is a slow go

Minnesota’s harvest progress continues to be hampered by wet field conditions and high moisture content in the crops.

As of Sunday, only 11 percent of corn and 42 percent of soybeans had been harvested. Both figures are nearly two weeks behind average.

Dry edible bean harvest reached 68 percent; sugarbeet harvest was 47 percent complete; potato harvest was at 90 percent; and sunflower harvest was just getting underway.
