This one looks like it will be a fun one if they hit them hard enough? And the Washington’s with a W should also be neetow !!! Is this one of the ATB’s or something else ? Well Good Luck ALL “>”>”>

    @SK —

If the big dealers don’t offer enough, they just won’t get any takers. This ASE issue with a 30K mintage, more than any other one in the last ten years, is a guaranteed winner for flippers. You’d have to be pretty lazy to sell one to a dealer.

Over the long term, this coin might not perform well, as mintages creep lower and lower. But for the first 72 hours after sales close? This issue may be worth its weight in Platinum.

    GWD-04A, GWD-08, GWD-11A

I would prefer the larger motifs of Washington in with action emphasis
    and fewer distractions.

  4. Anthony says

All designs are way too busy and detailed to look readable on the size of a quarter. Whatsit for? Izzit a single coin design for all circulating 2020 quarters ???

  5. cagcrisp says

@ MarkInFlorida says,”Is this a complete redesign of the circulating quarter or a commemorative?”

This is One of the options for the circulation quarters when the ATB series runs out in early 2021. There are Other options. This is One…

  6. Jamie Thompson says

GWD-02 seems best to me since it shows clearly that Washington didn’t make this crossing alone.

By the way, will this be the first U.S. coin to feature portraits of the same person on both sides?

  7. Jerome Diekmann says

All of these quarters are much better than the reverse of the New Jersey statehood quarter, in 1999, where all the figures were too small. I like 01,02, and 07 the best. I hope one of them is picked.

Is this quarter intended to be produced in 2021 after the last ATB quarter, the Tuskeegee Airmen (Alabama) quarter is issued early in the year? It is the only ATB quarter that would be minted in 2021.

So Krates – I reposted this comment because I think the comment in the earlier post may be too old now for people to read.

So Krates – Regarding your issue with the Whitman books running words together, I have an additional item to point out. Several years ago I noticed that the mintage figure published in the Red Book for the 1943 (P) steel cent was incorrect – it was off by 600 million. The books haven’t ever been corrected since and the latest book I have (2019) shows the mintage for the year as 84,628,670. The correct mintage is 684,628,670. Somehow the leading “6” was dropped for some strange reason and each new edition perpetuates the error. Maybe if someone reads this blog they can let Whitman know to correct the error.

04 & o2 are nice. I didn’t hear about this item, is it for the end of the ATB series? Would also look great in the 5 oz. model……. Most are quality if not too busy on some, a change from the mint & CCAC……….
