CME milk futures & cash dairy mostly down Friday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly down on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday.  

October Class III milk was up $.03 at $18.63.  November was unchanged at $18.56. December was down $.02 at $18.00.  January was unchanged at 17.28. The milk futures from February through next September ranged from zero to two cents lower.

Dry whey was down $.0075 at $.2850 cents per pound.  Seventeen sales were recorded from $.2850 to $.2900.

Forty-pound blocks were down $.0350 at $1.9675 per pound.  Three sales were recorded from $1.9675 to $1.9750.

Barrels were unchanged at $2.00 per pound.  Five sales were recorded at that price.

Grade AA Butter was down $.03 at $2.1150 per pound.  One sale was recorded at $2.11.

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.17 per pound.  No sales were recorded.
