City Auction underway including a fire truck, two ambulances open until Oct. 29

SAN ANGELO — The The City of San Angelo Surplus Auction is underway until Oct. 29 with interesting finds available, including a fire engine and two ambulances. 

The 1992 Pierce Pumper Fire Truck has 123,192 miles showing and bidding starts at $1,200. 

Details about the vehicle: It's diesel, automatic, has bucket seats, air brakes, A/C, rubber mats, a spotlight and comes with keys. Downside: It's engine seized and doesn't run. 

Perhaps you're in the market for something smaller? How about an ambulance, the city is offering two during this auction. The 2014 and 2012 Chevrolet 3500 Silverado Ambulances are at bids of $2,550. 

Other vehicles include Ford pickups and Dodge Chargers.

The auction also includes a couple of Holland tractors, a golf cart and several large riding mowers.

Aside from vehicles, there are other items including an Apple Watch, collectible porcelain bunny rabbits, camera, jewelry and more. 

All items are sold as is and have specific details. 

The auction will close at 10 a.m. Oct. 29. All items are listed on Rene Bates Auctioneers website

To bid on an item, people need to register as a bidder at renebates.com. Bidders will have to make a $100 deposit, which can be used toward the purchase or be refunded.
