Abel Lopez was in 8th Grade when he caught this freshwater drum during a fishing field trip with his classmates. The fish was listed as a record for O.C. Fisher Reservoir.

Taxidermist Dan Adney holds a 35-pound, 2-ounce striped bass caught in April of 1988 by R.L. Flannagan at Lake Spence, which was a new lake record at that time.

Micheal Rivero, 11, unhooks a trout that he caught in the Concho River near Irving Street in March 2004.. Rivero went to the river to participate in the Fishn' Derby sponsored by the San Angelo Recreation Department, only to find out the derby had been canceled.

Aimee Vu was a student at Austin Elementary when she caught this fine 10.25-pound bass at O.C. Fisher Reservoir in June of 1998. According to the back of the photo, her uncle Greg Hernandez helped her land it, and they were fishing with minnows.
