EVANSVILLE, Ind. —The Price Less Food at West Lloyd Express Way will be closing.

Kyle Wilson, with Houchens, the parent company of Price Less Food, said it was difficult to make the decision to close the store.

“Due to a combination of issues that were not favorable to the business, we were unable to keep it open. We have some great associates in the store and will be working diligently to find opportunities for everyone in other locations,” Wilson wrote in a statement.

Houchens representatives did not set a specific date for when the store is set to close but stated it will be happening “in the coming weeks."

Houchens will have other stores opening in Evansville under their various brands. A Crossroads IGA and Which Wich Superior Sandwiches will be opening within the next few months at Fielding Road and East Lloyd Expressway.
